MY PICKS

I really love rings. They're so much more versatile than necklaces or bracelets, and can add subtle elegance and gracefulness to an outfit. I love to pile some really valuable and meaningful ones with some chunky ones to balance each other out. My absolute favorite types of rings have recently become knuckle rings, but ever since I saw this 'nail' ring (the ring goes on top of your nail) I decided this is my new favorite trend. It looks precarious (how am I supposed to write Honors English essays with those things on?!) but after a while, you'll get used to them (and the compliments you'll receive.) Try this out-- if it doesn't cooperate with your packed hand-use schedule, then by all means return them. But I have to admit.. you might just find them starting to grow on you! xox

We've all established that it is inevitably Midterms week, and I would love nothing more than to roll out of bed in my Victoria's Secret flannel p.j.'s and head to school, but unfortunately the judgmental majority of my classmates would thoroughly disapprove. I therefore must force myself to throw on a comfortably cute outfit. I love a cool hightop sneaker, and above are my top picks. The comfiest sweatpants everrr are the ones from free city-- and why not wear these in honor of Valentine's day??!! xox

Midterms week. The most dreaded series of days a high schooler endures. In between studying, my friends and I go out for lunch and I make some errands, which both entail looking halfway decent. I went to a birthday party this weekend, in the middle of a chaotic study session, and threw this on. I kind of looked like a 50 year old Parisian grandmother at first, but then it started to grow on  me. The key is wearing bright lipstick to remind people that you're still a youthful human being. Xox
